HOW TO REACH BIT MESRA
Mesra is a town in the state of Jharkhand, about 16km from state capital Ranchi.




Mesra is easily reached by road from all cities within this region including Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Patna, etc. Ranchi and, another nearby town, Hatia are connected by rail to all major parts of India- Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Rourkela, Vishakapatnam, Bangalore, Nagpur, etc.
In case of the unavailability of direct trains to Ranchi or Hatia, regular connections are available via train or bus to Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Patna, Kolkata and Rourkela. Trains ply between these cities and Ranchi or Hatia on a daily basis.
The Birsa Munda Airport is the domestic airport serving Ranchi.
The trip from Ranchi Railway station to BIT Mesra can be completed by auto (Rs 180), share auto (Rs 50) or taxi (Rs 400).
